SHAMBAUGH Lindsey

She completed her undergraduate degree at Ohio University, where she majored in Integrated Language Arts, which is essentially English education for secondary students. She is currently finishing her master’s degree in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs.

She completed her student teaching in Cologne, Germany, where she taught English to students in grades 6 through 12. After graduating in 2019, she helped oversee an educational program at a farm in Colorado that focused on urban farming practices, plant identification, and environmental sustainability. Before accepting a full-time teaching position, she spent a year and a half working as a substitute teacher in multiple school districts in Colorado Springs.

Since 2024, she has been teaching seventh-grade English and Greek Mythology at The Vanguard School, a classical academy in Colorado Springs.
